Plot
Mr. X (Akshay Kumar) is an 'X-Man', a genetically engineered superhuman being created as a weapon to destroy the army of a corrupt and powerful drug lord (Boman Irani). However, he quickly finds himself out of control and blames his creator (Shagufta Rafiq) for his actions. He seeks revenge on the man responsible for his creation, Dr. Rajendra Jain (Rajat Kapoor), who was his mentor and the mastermind behind his creation.
Dressed in a dark suit with a red tie and collar and sporting a red eye-patch, Mr. X is on the run from the Indian military. Desperate to pay for his crimes, he plans to rob a bank with a bomb. However, he encounters Shiva (Raza Murad), an ex-special forces soldier, who has also been on the run. Together, they try to rob a bank but instead accidentally rob a casino and take a seat at the dice table. Before they can escape, a woman (Rimi Sen) distracts them by trying to sell them the contents of a briefcase. In the ensuing fight, Shiva is seriously injured and the woman escapes with the briefcase. However, Shiva is able to trick the woman into coming back for the briefcase, and he can now use the briefcase to help him survive. Together, Shiva and Mr. X steal the briefcase and escape.
They come across a sleepy town. Shiva pays a local girl to fix his motorcycle, and they ask the man to call for a taxi for them, which he does. The driver refuses to take Shiva, and Shiva knocks him unconscious
